Who is Vistry?

We have an unmatched portfolio of retail brands, each with a rich history and a strong reputation: Linden Homes, Bovis Homes and Countryside Homes.  With numerous developments progressing across Nottinghamshire, our most prominent is Linby Meadows, just north of Hucknall, where we are building 605 new homes in partnership with Jigsaw and Sigma, with homes being sold privately through Linden Homes and Bovis Homes.

Vistry is proud to support local communities by sponsoring this bespoke pre-employment course in partnership with the Chameleon School of Construction, allowing learners to access industry training completely FREE of charge. This is more than just a course; it's the first step towards a career in construction.

What's next?

This is just the beginning of our partnership. Next year, Vistry and Chameleon will open the Linby Meadows Skills Academy – a brand-new on-site training facility located next to our development, just off the A611 Annesley Road in Linby.


We'll be delivering a six-week Route into Construction course:

  • Course title: Health & Safety and Combined CSCS Training Course
  • Qualification: Level 1 Award in Bricklaying, Plastering or Wall and Floor Tiling
  • Eligibility: Adults aged 19+ who are unemployed or on a low income


Learners will receive Health & Safety training, practical construction skills in their chosen trade, a CSCS test and, upon successful completion, a two-year CSCS card. They will also have the opportunity to see Vistry's Linby Meadows development taking shape, creating further opportunities through our local supply chain.


Together, we're addressing the skills shortage and helping to shape tomorrow's workforce.
