Short Level 1 Award in Tiling – Funded

Our fully-funded Short Tiling Level 1 Award is available to those unemployed or on a low-income and are 19+. This is a perfect course as an introduction or to see if tiling is for you before starting a full-time qualification. You will receive an NOCN-accredited Level 1 Award in Tiling.

  • What Subject's are Covered?

    • Surface preparation, setting out, tiling, cutting tiles, grouting and sealing.
    • Cutting tiles using wet tile cutters, dry tile cutters, tile scribes, tile snips and tile saws.
    • Explaining all the different adhesives used for different surfaces.
    • Setting out and cutting around windows and reveals.
    • How to tile around socket areas.
    • Grouting, grout cleaning and polishing.
    • Preparation for the application of silicon.

    Steel-toe cap boots are required for this short beginner tiling course.
