This is a perfect course as an introduction or to see if tiling is for you before starting a full time qualification. You will receive an NOCN accredited Level 1 Award in Tiling.
Subjects Covered
- Surface preparation, setting out, tiling, cutting tiles, grouting and sealing.
- Cutting tiles using wet tile cutters, dry tile cutters, tile scribes, tile snips and tile saws.
- Explaining all the different adhesives used for different surfaces.
- Setting out and cutting around windows and reveals.
- How to tile around socket areas.
- Grouting, grout cleaning and polishing.
- Preparation for the application of silicon.
Steel toe cap boots required for this short beginners tiling course.
